I witnessed this last friday. I went there to have a look at the BRZ, they had a black one which the lot boy was washing. I saw him open the driver side door and then spray the door sills with a high pressure nozzle. There was tons of water spraying all over the interior.

I'm glad I read this thread. I too was wondering who to go with. I am willing to go quite out of my way to buy from someone I actually like.

Wow, that's pretty bad.

Ditto on going out of my way to buy from a reputable dealer.

Wow that is one shitty lot boy.... It isn't hard to keep water out of the car with a pressure washing while washing the door sills . But since I do have experience with pressure washing, it sometimes looks like there's tons of water going in the interior while in reality there isn't. I'm just thinking maybe you saw it the way I use to see it unless you did check up close

I bought my WRX from Tom Yeung @ Don Docsteader Subaru. The buying experience was perfect. They usually have their cars detailed at Dynamic Auto Shine, which is a few blocks away from them. That place does decent work, as I've sent some cars their way before.

This is entirely possible. I didn't get a good look inside after.

Fast forward to yesterday; here is what I think of them now. Their Service Department.

Don't get me wrong, my experience with my salesman is top notch A+, but unfortunately I can't say the same with their Service Dept.

Saw that earlier, pretty mad for you honestly. It's funny how they deny it and you have a video of them getting out checking the front lip after the "accident".

Why didn't you just give them a copy of the STI front lip invoice and tell them to pay you back or buy a new lip?

I live in Calgary but had one experience with Don Docksteader last year while passing through on my way to Whistler. Brought our 2013 XV Crosstrek in for a simple LOF on the road I had booked because I knew I would be at the exact mileage it was due for the first service after driving from Calgary to Vancouver. Anyway I had 4 guys worth of ski gear (six pair of boots, five snowboards, and three pairs of skis) strapped to the roof in ski/snowboard bags, and they fucking pressure washed everything, I don't understand why they would look at the car and be like yes lets wash the shit out of this, this is a good idea.
