Please ID this part

It fell off the car today...found in front side of engine compartment, in the driveway...poor reassembly of front bumper plastic bits after FI install

Stamped lettering, Subaru, Denso, polypropylene/ polyethylene, a44ca00

It's just an intake resonator. Find the hole and plug it up. Won't hurt anything.

That thing is riveted to the air box. The hamfisted mechanic that did OP's installation broke it off and stuck it back on hoping no one would not notice. OP will probably see a crack or missing part of the flange where the pop-rivet ripped from the drilling.

Wait, you no longer have the OEM airbox. Pfff... either way, sloppy.
