Question Tires to help with traction after JRSC install

I just installed the CARB tuned C38 Jackson Racing supercharger on my BRZ, but now I'm having traction issues during hard acceleration in 1st gear from 5000 to 7000 rpms. The tires will break free and the traction control light will blink.

I'm running Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position 215-45/17 on stock rims.

Was thinking of getting stickier tires to help..
Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec. (or whatever you may suggest)

Question is, what size?
215-45/17, 225-45/17, 245-40/17?

My requirements: use the stock rims, stay within 2% of the stock diameter, have the maximum grip for hard acceleration, can be used for autoX and daily driving.

Such troubles...lol.

But regarding your question, I see a lot of people going to 225/45s on the stock 17s without issue. 245/40 can be done, but is certainly less than ideal and only seems to be done when trying to stick to a stock class in autox. While some will still argue that a 225mm on a 7" rim still isn't 'perfect', it's still going to put more rubber on the ground and a stickier compound from an RS-3/RE-71/Rival S/etc. will give you more grip, providing the outside temps are acceptable.

I ended up going with the 215/45/17 Dunlop Direzza's Star Spec II
The tread width is still wider than my old 215/45/17 S-04 Pole Positions.

After a brief 10 miles of scrubbing off the tire release residue, I can wind out 1st gear without breaking grip anymore :-)

The next thing I'll need to do is replace my stock clutch. It can't handle the shift from 1st to 2nd when I shift at redline. It kind of feels like the clutch is slipping. The RPMs just hang there for a second before the clutch fully grabs again.
