guys look what he is asking here before posting up RCE Tarmac or coils of that caliber

for that price you are looking at like Megans and coils along those lines. You need to step up to around 1500 if you want BCs or coils like them.

1000 for coils I would really just get lowering springs and call it a day especially if you dont ever plan to change the coil setup and are only going for low

edit: if under 1k is a must you really only have Megans to look at. They have some mixed reviews but I believe @jasper is finding them pretty decent

I have stance cos on mine right now - they were 1k shipped which is the only reason I bought them. I'm going to sell them once my RCE t2s come in. Cheap != comfortable.

You shouldn't make concessions on damper quality just to have the adjustable ride height on a coilover. Otherwise you may regret your purchase after riding around on them for a while. I really think you'll be happier with the RCE offering from a build quality and ride quality standpoint. I don't have personal experience with either but based on what I've read here the aftermarket coilover market mostly follows the "you get what you pay for" sentiment. Also RCE are a forum sponsor here and are very helpful when it comes to answering customer's questions about their products and getting the setup that you want.

Good luck.

They are built by KW and have the KW logo stamped on them as well as RCE's.

RCE just spec's them to their own liking they feel is best suited for the car + customer and thus sells them as their own.

They are built by KW for us...truly custom valved KWs for the BRZ/FRS. We worked with them to dial in the valving and spring rates even more (and have a lifetime warranty). We've been working with them since 2006.

I have a friend with BC racing and he loves them. His FR-S is a daily driver. I was strongly leaning towards BC (BC is local to me) until I saw the intro deal on the tarmac zeros. BC's with the swift upgrade will be decent and fulfill what you are looking for.
