Sounds like fun guys. I will be on the Cabot trail that day. I will be at the Next Mod event on the 17th.

Best car show in Ottawa, Nice to see Ken, Cory, Pat and Charlie out. Saw Jeff just as I was leaving. Always nice to see you all. Sorry I couldn't stay longer, Life keeps getting in the way.

I'm thinking of getting an 86 or frs in the upcoming months, I was wondering are there tracks somewhat nearby which have complete noob drifting lessons?

As far as lessons go I think the only place is at ICAR.

However there are events every week at ICAR and Autodrome St-Eustache. Just show up, organizers will help you out. The drifting community is really good.

Update: Nokia Charity Car Show Sat July 23
We need to have as many members arrive before 2:30pm to grab parking spots in our reserved area directly along the main entrance off Legget Drive and we have the row Facing west closest to March Road. They can't guaranty holding the spots if we haven't filled them after 2:30 but I'm sure they'll leave the reserved spots alone until they really need to use them. We will have a banner with our logo (based on Andre's window sticker design). I'm bringing my smallish 9'x10' canopy for some shade. Remember NO alcohol is permitted (family event) and they will eject you from the show if you bring any. Bring a cooler with lots of water though! It will be a hot one! There will be food trucks and Porto-potties on site too.
I'll post up a separate meeting place in Kanata so we can try to roll-in as many of us together as possible, targeting 2:00pm.
Bring $5 per vehicle please!

Just got back from my drive.
Ottawa- Fredericton-Moncton-Confederation Bridge-Summerside-Charlottetown- Ferry- Cabot Trail-Sydney-Halifax-Amhurst-Grande Falls-Quebec City.
A few thoughts-- We live in a beautiful country. All roads down east are fantastic. The trail was very impressive. NO PEOPLE. Did not see one police officer in New Brunswick PEI or Nova Scotia. I'm old and out of shape and not once was I uncomfortable in the car. Saw 3 other FRS/BRZ's. I will post a couple of pics when I have some time. Overall, I would highly recommend the drive. It is definitely worth it.
