I'm not trying to be a ****, but you seriously don't have a smartphone so you can make a video? If you're gonna ask about a noise on the internet, it would really help. Having a recording of a completely different car doesn't help, no matter how similar you think the noises are.

That being said, the car in the video does sound like it has an exhaust leak. Is your exhaust stock? If not, I'd double check the gasket at the cat-back.

I got $1 on exhaust leak, if it's anything like that video.

I'm going to attempt to record it when I get a chance. Maybe even later today. I just got back from the dealer and I'm not happy. They ended up pulling the "we don't know where it's coming from so nothing we can do" type crap. I don't even think they bothered to look. They also told me that they couldn't do anything about the crickets because there is no fix for it yet. So absolutely nothing was resolved today and my car is still making those noises.

Lol who's he? I'm the one with the strange sound going on haha

Well here's what the dealer gave me today regarding the crickets

As for the other sound, the clicking sound I'm more concerned with, they couldn't find anything wrong so they just let it be and told me to have a nice day. I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm going to record a sound clip and post it tomorrow for you guys.

Yes find another dealership.and act very concerned and also make threats with lemon law. I had the crickets and some other issues I went straight to the dealer and told them I didn't want the car and wouldn't pay the note on a messed up vehicle. They replaced the throttle body and fuel pump. Bout 300 miles later it started up again and is progressing:/ worse comes to worse ill buy a different fuel pump or look into dropping the new legacy ej20 into my frs with turbo.its the same block as the fa20 throttle body is facing opposite direction and has turbo!!

Heres a quick sound clip of the noise. My phone didn't do so great at capturing the sound tho. I'll try and make another one with my camera and see if it works, but here is this one for now

Is it a deeper sound, or a high pitched ticking? I couldn't hear any high pitched clicking/tapping sound in that video, but I heard a deeper, fluctuating noise.

Is that an aftermarket head unit? Do you have an amp installed? If so, you might try disconnecting your amp from the battery and see if the noise goes away.

It's not aftermarket it's the stock scion headunit. No sub either. I've only had the car for a little over 3 months and the only mods I've done so far are just aesthetic/cosmetic that shouldn't have caused the clicking sound.

That statement is not true for everyone. You may have filled at a station that has 0 ethanol content.
