Proportions look different in person. I honestly think they should keep the last gen styling vs. this new one, maybe with a new front bumper and a cooler wing, and a new radio. The Supra looks fairly modern though it's not, even more modern than some of our modern cars.

The interesting thing, is that I know people who prefer the mk3 body style over the mk4. I guess it depends on the era you grew up in.

I'm one of those, and like you say it's personal taste. I also like the MK2 better than the MK3.

The MK4 is the only generation I wouldn't buy because I just don't like the whole dove soap bar look. I also don't like the Corvette generations with the same look.

Am I the only one who think Toyota is going to fuck this up?
Think about this :
1. Toyota comes up with some wild engine choice with no after market support.
2. Turns out new supra is new nsx fighter, with price to match it.
3. It is limited unit like TRD pro, with 20k mark up on every single one of them.

I hope new supra is awesome but just saying.

they have already hinted at a $50k-$60k price tag.

Magna Steyr is reported to built up to 60,000 units annually between the Supra and Z5.

I think he was saying the MSRP before the factory options (those varied from those Monroney stickers).

I was talking to my old friend who was salesman back in the day and he also said he never seen supra sold for msrp. I was checking out TRD pro trucks before I got f150, dealerships were treating TRD pro like gold.
I had raptors with discount offers but not toyota.

I hope it's awesome as well, but also believe they're gonna fuck it up.

1) Co-developed with BMW; nothing good will come of that IMO
2) Probably be overly complicated for limited gains
3) Probably overweight

The best thing you can hope for is that it gets a BMW B58 engine, good for 4.8s 0-60 in a ~3,700 lb sedan, the thing will be damn quick for a GT if they can keep it under 3,200 lbs, and a good tune will probably get you over 400 hp and mighty close to a muscle car in a straight line while being several hundred lbs lighter. I mean, you'll be paying $20k+ more for it, but it's not a Porsche.

Looks a bit like an Alfa in the front. The car is way to nice. They will never build it.
