I like this 14R60, but I'm not a track enthusiast and wont see any real gains that this car may give, I think many people can honestly say the same.

i don't want a turbo either, save that for the FT1

If they go in the FI direction I cannot see why Toyota wouldn't make the turbo compatible with the FA20. It would very dumb of them if they didn't. From both engineering and marketing standpoint.

Taking into consideration the amount of people that want more power, and those who are holding out on this platform until a higher hp/tq version comes out it really seems like a no brainer if they are able to pull a profit on the forced induction kit.

How is it that we got suckered into the early versions of the most factory-riced out car in history?

Dumb choice of words.

I meant if Toyota decides to make a FI FA20, allow people with older model years able to upgrade with some form of warranty.

So, what you're saying is basically "I don't want this car to be made better because then I would have an inferior version." ??? lol

They could literally do that through TRD like they've done for the tundra lol

This car is WAY less rice than the RB cars with -8 deg of camber and front wheels that can't even turn fully without hitting the body.

Yes it is expensive. Yes none of us will probably get one. Yes it could have more power.

But to think you can just buy parts (expensive or not) and do better than this might be an overestimation on your part. This model *still* wasn't meant to win drag races, but I bet it will do very well in races where there is a pattern of accelerate -> brake -> turn, repeat.

Your Opinion May Vary, This Is Mine (YOMVTIM)

They should just turbo charge the car and retune it at 200hp. I would practically re-buy the car. Imagine all the cheap power mods. Instead of spending $5000 for a FI kit; throw in an intake, bigger intercooler and a tune to make 300bhp for like $1,500. This is what people want.

You're not alone. Not sure if I 'd buy this car if it was turboed / significantly more expensive.

Also how do these threads always turn into a "oh no turbo, we want turbo" circlejerk?

Yeah, this car isn't even coming to the US so it doesn't even matter.
