i am very interested in the event but the registration closed already. Is it still possible to sign up or will there be another event similar to this one soon?

This is a pilot program most likely to establish a trainer base and determine interest in events like these. Judging from the interest I personally would believe they will continue these events, but sadly it will be determined from how well the event goes.

Anyone else just going to observe? Need to figure out if I need to find a canopy/lawn chairs or not

I'll be there as well I know that there is going to be a larger meet elsewhere in the grounds but not sure how many other people will a serve the whole time.

I'm sure there are other events just like this one. I haven't really looked it up myself though.

Yes this is just a pilot event of many to follow, and this is limited in number due to the very small venue I am offered for this.
As such, the exercises must be low speed and very tight, and therefore it can be a very good lesson for novice FRS owners who have never been into dynamic driving. So I wanted to cater all the best instructors I have in my contacts and resources, and teach it the way I wanted to do it, quite different from all the common, generic "Open Track" or "Drifting 101" stuff, and do it in a very enlightening way catering to basics from maintenance to tuning tips, how to communicate and monitor the car's lifeline, and other factors outside of simple speed.

In any case, I want to work on the "quality over quantity" so just hang in there guys. I'll have more and following ones will feature more advanced skills.

NOTE TO ENTRANTS: PLEASE ARRIVE PROMPTLY on time at 7:00AM and check-in at the venue. Don't forget to inflate your tires to 40psi, and make sure your helmet fits well.
Stock tires are recommended for this exercise, since it is more a car control clinic, and not a speed contest. The less grip the tire has, the less load on the mechanical you will put the car through, and easier the exercise.

Thanks and SEE YOU THERE!!

Moto, that was incredible. I had a blast. I'll be at the next one, schedule permitting.

Please pass along my thanks to the instructors, as well. Ken, Benson, and Jeff, especially, helped me out quite a bit.
