it turns the gear indicator on and off. Leave it on and drive around... I really like mine.

G-ON -> Shows which gear you're in as you're driving.
G-OFF -> Does not.

its in there but it is a little confusing to read. and sometimes people just get weary and unintentionally start skipping over stuff randomly. I found this video was much easier to understand than how they explained it in the book

I checked the owner manual. Only works for MT. AT can not be turned off.
