Choices On Front Lower Control Arms

I'm looking at installing some aftermarket front lower control arms to provide room for a sway bar in front of the cross member. Doing this as I swapping motors and no room behind cross member. I need some room between frame rail and LCA to get a sway bar arm up and back to reach the link.

That said, I looked at everything I can find but wanted to ask the brain trust here their thoughts.

OK,, first everything I've found,

Megan - Price point is good,,, worry about adjusting

SPL - Nice put pricy

Buddy Club - wont work,, not enough room

Cusco - Wont work not enough room

Racer-X Nice,, a bit pricy but 10% off this weekend.

Also saw Godspeed (no where to buy but ebay) and Hardrace (look like rebranded Megan to me), but have pretty much ruled them out already.

OK for my questions,,,

Anyone know of any other brands I may have missed????

Second,, I remain a bit concerned about how adjustments happen on a few of these. I really don't want to have to unbolt the LCA from the chassis to adjust it (camber/caster) then re-bolt to the chassis. It looks like the Racer-X should adjust on chassis. The Megan and SPL I cant tell for sure if the rear attachment needs to come off for adjustments.

Anyone have thoughts on this??

There is also Wise Fab, a lot of drift guys use them. They have complete suspension kits on there web site but Im not sure if they sell it by the piece. They probably do since people need replacement parts.

The SPL Parts unit adjusts on car and is what I chose to get - they’re expensive, but they’re essentially automotive porn and are truly works of art. They have tons of adjustability and top notch materials and are what I believe to be the absolute ‘best’ on the market. Of the others on your list, my second choice would definitely be the Racer X units - they’re known to be an excellent company with very good support.

Like @FirstWinter suggested, I’d call @CounterSpace Garage and tell them about your unique situation and see what they recommend - I use them as my go-to source for everything and they’ve really been great to work with.

I also went with the SPL for the adjustability and known quality and support. At this point I think my car has all their FT86 bits.

Thanks for all the thoughts. In the end came down to Racer-X and SPL. Just ordered the Racer-X parts as they are about $150 less with the Labor Day discount and the regular ball joint may cut down on noise and vibration a bit. SPL looks to be a super nice part though.

As a sidebar, The MAX and Wisefab didn't look like they'd give the room needed. Thanks for the info though hadn't seen them in my searches. Megan lost as the control arm needs to be removed to adjust camber.

Let's just hope it'll do the trick for a sway bar.
