I was even lazier than usual this week which resulted in me putting off laundry. And I had to go commando for a few hours. To make matters worse all I had was some too tight jeans and a shirt that had a bad pun about Bass. At first I was embarrassed to even leave my apartment. But my only thought when I got outside was, "you're welcome ladies."

This heat wave is driving me crazy.

lol read that and thought it was funny. On that note here's my predictions for the next few trends in customizing, especially for the FR-S:
1. Resurgence of "hard parking," or making your car look like a fast time attack car but not actually racing
2. Stance/hellaflush will become more popular once these cars dip into the teens for used car prices
3. Although, and don't quote me on this in the future (unless I'm right), I think that "Factory Spec" customizing will become more popular. I mean consider how many people are gawking at the TRD intake, Nur Spec body kit, and other somewhat exclusive "factory" parts. As time goes on we'll see more and more people trying to have full "TRD Spec" FR-S's. Same with the BR-Z and STI as more parts come out.

Actually I'm not sure. I believe that these cars are going to hold their value really well for the next few years, it won't be until WAY down the road that the average high school kid can get one from a part time job salary. It's today's cheap economy cars that will end up "riced," like the focus, civic, and mazdas. Although, while I'm predicting the future I think that the chargers, challengers, and other assorted muscle cars are going to be the next big "high school" cars. In the 90's/early 2k's honda had metric shit tons of cars out on the road, and they were cheap, so naturally the "hot rodders" of that generation took to them. Today, chargers are everywhere, same with camaros and mustangs, and they look cool, sound mean, and are fast. What more could a high schooler want?

(The irony here that I'm a high schooler (senior))

Edit: Oh and don't forget that early 2k Subarus are becoming affordable...I have a feeling a lot of WRX's and regular imprezas are going to be bastardized in the upcoming decade)

thanks That's basically my goal...same reason why I mostly lurk, seems like some people HAVE to contribute to every thread and the more you talk, the more chances you have to put your foot in your mouth...

As far as discussions like this it helps that I don't occupy myself with much else besides automotive stuff, so I can generally speak pretty coherently on automotive subjects. Boats too actually. I just laugh when "adults" (I'm an adult technically but you catch my drift) argue and get offended on forums like these. I have to say my butt puckered a little when I was reading through a thread and some newer guy decided to be an ass to @WingsofWar...I was expecting more than just a closed thread...

GM stopped making quality vehicles in 1972 and hadn't started until 2011 or so...hey, each day with this car will make the FR-S more sweet

Man, it's going to be emotional when @Zaku AND @IntotheOcean both get their cars....
