I think for as cheap as the fuel pump is, might as well just upgrade it. But luckily its something that can always be bought in the future without having to retune or pull something else off that you previously installed. |

WMI will "rich" the mixture so a pump isn't necessary.

Hit up the dynojet again to see what the meth tune would do. Got some unexpected results. It is clear the meth tune is probably not the meth tune at all and got mixed up (duplicated) with my 91 oct tune. It made the same exact power as the 91 map.
Several 220-230 whp pulls on the base tune and the "meth tune". I am in contact with the tuner to see what is up. Have lots of logs to send him. Dyno charts when I get home! |

I wonder if that nameless header will do for your kit what the fa20club header is doing for the vortech kit. Jason said he was optimizing the header for the innovate kit, and they don't make bad pipes over there.

Are you still running all stock or did you add any bolt-ons?
Also I assume the A/F isn't accurate in the plot? Hopefully you get the W/M figured out, always kinks when you're on the leading edge

I know... At least I found a dynojet shop that takes care of me. $30 for 2 hrs on their dynojet! Last edited by sw20kosh; 07-12-2013 at 11:10 AM. |

Did your meth guy (sounds so bad) discuss any evaporation that can occur by injecting pre-supercharger as the air compresses?
I was talking to the owner of a BMW race shop at a local cars & coffee (they use to race in the Rolex Grand-Am series) and do a ton of WMI (aquamist) on customer cars. He suggested that I'd lose some of the mixture due to evaporation in the compression cycle. Just wondering if you know anything about it. Still considering if I should pursue the WMI or just wait and do the simple intercooler addition (if it's simple).

I figured this was the bulk of what WMI does, and the resulting wet, alcohol-laden, mixture helped with the octane as well. So I'm confused when he says you lose some of the mixture to evaporation. |
