So I have a 2015 BRZ. I purchased a 2017 wheel and clock spring. The only issue is one port that the connector will not fit. Last edited by Dobe2049; 07-30-2019 at 08:28 PM. Reason: adding photo |

I did not use a 2017 clockspring. I used the existing clockspring from my 2015 and re pinned it.

Your best bet is to do what I did then. Get a 2017 wiring harness. I got one luckily on Ebay for $50. Then pin-out or splice what you need into it from the old harness. For my car it was only 4 wires (I think one is the horn and the other is the cruise control)

I didn’t. I pinned them out using a meter.

i hope this diagram helps
disregard DP, DP2 and EAU it would be a lot easier if you can find a new clockspring but make sure it comes with the harness (at the very least the connector with cut wires) new clockspring connector if you’re using the old clockspring, you won’t need a new harness. you’ll have to transfer the wires from the steering wheel control harness connector to the old steering wheel harness connector and add wires to the existing clockspring harness connector. old clockspring connector Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

An update,
decided to just go with the 17+ roll connector and grab a cheap 17+ limited dash harness. Will hopefully be getting them installed next weekend. Working on pulling the necessary wires from the 17+ harness now. Need AU Gnd, AU1, AU2, DP1, DP2, EAU, Ill+, and Ill-. Will then pull the wires back to the head unit or dash cluster connector and start adding them into my car. |

Only other thing is I messed up the steering angle sensor when removing the old wheel so just bought a techstream cable to do a recalibration and hopefully that will fix it. |
