Died out at light

So im probably asking a question that some asked before, but anyway i installed my injen intake last night and drove my car a good 10 miles, all clear, today i pulled out to go to work and 2 blocks later my car died at the light and wouldn't start. It took me 10-15 attempts till i finally floored it and drop it into gear while starting just to roll into the gas station. After another 10 min of trying to start it and checking the vacuum hose and connections. she started and no issues on my way to work. Has anyone here had this problem? any ideas?

Did you unplug your battery while you installed the intake?

Oh boy... .Makes me sad Injen hasn't fixed this yet, at least I haven't seen one yet. I haven't had that big of a problem where I can't get it to start but definietly have had issues with the car stalling with the intake on. I got so sick of it I put the old intake on and it runs fine now. I really do feel like the intake adds something from the mid to high range but it just puts our idle to low to where it kills the car. So now I am waiting till I can tune the car so the Idle can be raised. Thats the only thing I know of to fix this. You could try to take it to the dealer and make sure your ECU is up-to-date but I have multiple times and still have had the same issue. Hopefully there will be a better fix for this.

I think at least 3 vendors have tunes for the Injen intake.

dirtying the maf sensor is a possibility, or a vacuum leak.

most likely a leak or sensor issue. But a tune is highly recommended, since most likely just a bolt on part will lose power without a proper tune, the engine will run rich due to more air coming in and factory ECU adjusting to that.

Then Injen filter does NOT use oil, it is a dry filter.

I second this, double check your connectors and make sure that they are tight.
