Carbon fiber wrap

There are three places which have black plastic (fake carbon fiber) on BRZ.
Please refer to the image as below.
I did only see one post which did the carbon fiber wrapped in the side part.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18150
Do you think that will look better do the carbon fiber wrap in these three places (front side and rear) and is it achievable (no adhesion issue) ?
Please let me know.
Thanks.

I'd leave it the way it is. The "factory fake carbon" is just meant to be the outline of the reverse lights and rear fog light of the car.

Looks better as is.

Not only would it look bad, but it would adhere very poorly because of the texture.

There is a vendor that sells actual carbon overlays for the rear bumper area surrounding the reverse light, check the marketplace forums if that's what you're after.

Do you mean the Seibon one?
http://seiboncarbon.com/store/products/ta-style-carbon-fiber-rear-lip-for-2012-2013-scion-frs-subaru-brz.html

I have Subaru OEM diffuser on my car.
The vender cannot confirm that will fit or not.
I did see two additional vertical piece below the rear fog light slot on their overlay.
Their white BRZ with OEM diffuser which was in the SEMA 2012 did not put the overlay on it.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21093
So, I am not show that will have fitting issue or not.
Thanks.

Will the front and side also has the same issue or only rear?

Thanks again.

You might be able to do the side fender garnishes if you pull out the rubber piece, but I think there are holes underneath it.

Basically anything textured is not going to hold the vinyl well.

It looks cool, but I am not sure how he did.
It looks like have two kinds of carbon fiber around the side vent.
Thanks.

I did see three kinds of rear carbon fiber overlay product.

(a) MV designs
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...ght=MV+designz

(b) Seibon
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21093

(C) APR performance
http://www.body-kitz.com/contents/en...r_Bumpers.html (bottom one)

(a)and (b) should be using 3m double sided tape + screws mounted at the bottom.
I am not sure the (c). It looks like totally replacement.
My concern is that might not fit my BRZ OEM diffuser.

Front:
S- Craft
http://www.frp-craft.com/cgi/pd/pd.c...view&bango=100
http://brz-86.net/brz-lab/brz-lab03_06.html

It looks good, but it need to drill a hole (second link). I am not sure this is good idea or not.
You might need to ask the original post. I am not sure how he did.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25642

Thanks.

Do you know what’s the different between the middle and the surrounding?
It looks quite different for me.
Thanks.
