We do not believe there is a large difference; if one at all.

Thanks,
Eric

They will be carrying both soon. Currently, they have the original design on the shelf. The slanted design is headed to them, in both raw and black, today.

SKU are:
A0041A for original
A0065A for slanted

Thanks,
Eric

These look really nice, not super flashy or over the top aggressive by any means

We're starting to run low on our original design and before we switch to stocking only the slanted version, I wanted to ensure that what I've been told is true. We are being told that most people prefer the slanted version aesthetically over the original. If this is true, it will definitely help us to only have to stock one set instead of both.

Please let us know which design you prefer .

For clarification:

Some more install photos:

Hood louvers at work for QTCC in Qatar.

Fairly radical build with our louvers installed.

Black on black always looks good.

Multiple installs from California

Thank you,
Eric

Well, I prefer the originals. Wish you'd get that rear wing done rather than changing the hood vents since now all your functionality testing has to be redone to ensure they are as effective. For me, the vents are about function, not form. Until you redo the tests with the slanted vents, I can't recommend your vents over the competition anymore

We ended up testing the slanted louvers a month or so ago, essentially they perform the same with the wickers installed. We saw, what we would consider, a negligible difference which was likely due to small errors in data recording (prob not in the exact same location, the weather was not the exact same, etc). We never tested the units without wickers installed.

Like we have stated in the rear wing thread, the rear wing is not something that just happens overnight. The slanted louvers were designed last year, well before the rear wing was started. We have ordered first articles and are waiting to get them in for testing.

Thanks,
Eric
