hahaha no reason to ashamed I think it's great for what it is! no matter what it's still an 86 a great car by all rights, and you're going to own one. That's just super exciting if you ask me, so be proud!

lol true enough. Honestly I'll probably end up getting it resprayed San Marino Blue Metallic (the special blue that you can get with the 2013 M6)

In fact I'd be surprised if we see a revamped model by 2016, it's just not in a manufactures budget to change that much yearly.. Nothing is wrong with the chassis, suspension, or drivetrain.. Maybe a boost in power.. Maybe.. But other then "bold new colors" I don't see nothing being changed with the next model year..

In fact if they release the new model during the regular time most manufactures do, ie. June July August.. Then they would be starting to implement those changes here very shortly.. All the new stuff would have to go through testing, and I haven't seen no real evidence of anything being tested other then the STI BRZ..

Also curious of these drag reducing fins the article mentions. The clutch LSD and new tires and TRD guages are not as much a concern with me.

how much is this car going to cost?
sounds like it's just a BRZ with scion bumper and some fancy color.
only thing I care for are the lights.

It turns out that the Lexus IS has all three colors for 2013. The photo by @Shadow215 makes me lean to Cerulean Blue even more. It might also be Glacier Frost Mica. Pictures in order: Tungsten; Starfire; Cerulean; and parking lot photo with Starfire left, Glacier Frost right.

I can't be the only one who noticed the different pattern of the dash right?
No more UFO/fake carbon fiber pattern?

Anyone think that'll make it to the 2014's?

Not hating on any silver owners, but I'm surprised that they went with another silver for this 10 series. I think they should have went with something a little more bold, like a darker crimson red (similar to the concept 86).

But I guess even the (paint) parts bin was raided.

That shifter is absolutely one of the worst things I have seen in my life. Pretty sure even Pep Boys would be embarrassed to sell that.

I also agree with others that think they should have done something with the seats. Even a different color insert would have helped.

So you guys are basically finally getting a real GT86 except with no fogs, no choice of color, straws for tailpipes and ridiculous glowstick badging.

Well big congratulations to Toyota USA for 10 years of making a fool of themselves with this completely useless brand. Looks like an appropriate way to celebrate

I thought the Scion fanboys finally converted me. Then Scion went and did this. All they did was remind me why I hate the Scion brand.

I love all the JDM goodies, but all the glowing shit, seriously Scion? Just morph back into Toyota please.

Scion execs need to creep the forums to find out what the people want, not watch Fast and Furious movies.
