Aero kit looks much better in black than other colours but still not a fan of the spoiler though
P.S: You should have used the music from Rocky instead haha |

Wow black cars are hard to keep. I know people say this a lot but you don't realise until you wash one. I though I'd give it a rinse today and it was streaking like a mofo when i was drying it and needed the wax on wax off approach for drying. Finally finished only to come back 10 minutes later to see it with a fine layer of dust again. Ah well I still don't regret getting black I'll just have to buy a container load of microfibre cloths.

I think once your car's been OC'ed - you can use the watersheeting technique to dry your car - no need to touch your car with a drying media ever again?

good in theory, but impossible to achieve completely IRL. not all the beads roll on the surface, but ive got the drying technique down now.
Although after washing my car twice today, it started to rain and now it looks worse after the rain than it did before the 2 washes... Which is when my work mate says "Welcome to the world of owning a black car"

Hopefully the Opticoat will help when owning a black car ... I've owned previously two black coloured Accord Euro's (this was well before OC came along), I managed the best I could - and the last wasn't too bad except for a bird poo or something that stuck and did a little bit of damage to the clearcoat, totally my fault as I was getting lazy washing the car religiously.
Over the years I just don't worry so much about the dust on black cars, you don't or can't really see it anyway. The worst that I get here in Perth, WA was this evil fine black powdery stuff that seems to settle ALL OVER the car and feels very gritty to the touch - really bad - imagine people breathing in this crap! |
