Yes if you wish to cut off the BOV flange and weld on your BOV flange of choice.

Touching base to see if/when you plan to adopt the new Garret G series turbo models. I understand the Garrett G25-660(G2567R), will supersede the GTX2867R gen 2?

We've had a few inquiries about the new G turbo since the SEMA show. The turbo looks very promising but we're not sure if there's going to be enough demand for it given the $2000 price tag vs the $1800 gtx2867R. If we get enough inquiries for this turbo with our kit, we'll pick one up for testing and make the necessary changes to accommodate this new turbo.

That's going to be a bit difficult without us actually having done the conversion and test fitting this transmission ourselves. Looks like something you're going to need a fabricator to custom fab the necessary components to make the kit work with the 350z tranny. Not sure how the 350z transmission is going to even fit inside the existing transmission tunnel without some modification to the sheetmetal/chassis itself since it's a relative large transmission compare to the 86.

I've looked into this a good bit.

The CD009 swap has a fitting kit, and a lot of cutting for new mounts of the trans. It does fit - but its pretty tight. It would take some fabbing to get the PTuning kit to work due to the turbo placement and front-pipe.

A better idea (for this kit specifically) is to look into the Jack's Transmissions upgraded trans for the BRZ/FRS. Additionally, PAR makes straight-cut gears to open/swap in with the 4th gear thrust-load fix. Also, I believe Velox is making FT86 upgraded gears/trans parts.

I'm not sure how much these cost... but IIRC the CD009 swap being offered is ~ $4K or more.

@ptuning.

Although the GTX2871R has faster spool and the area under the torque curve is larger with a flatter torque table relative to the GTX3076R, I’m curious as to the EGT temp between the two. I prefer to have a lower EGT and bump up the boost. Your response would be greatly appreciated. Totally digging the kit.

I'm heading out to the track in February and I'll get some logs of EGT with my 2867. I already have loads of logs for the 3076 so I can get a comparison. IMO - 28xx series is a much better suited for this turbo kit as installation and maintenance is much easier with the smaller turbo. Not to mention many other benefits if you're running lower power like me.

What size tires are guys running with this setup? The dynos suggest this thing makes tons of torque. The dyno charts aren't dissimilar to this 991 GT3 RS, which comes with a 325/30 21! and has 61% of its weight over the rear wheels, not to mention a giant rear wing. Can you put the power down at all in corners?

Would it be possible to modd it for RHD or would it be to much of a hassle do you think as I like the idea of low mount and keeping the weight towards the back ?
