What is really amazing is how many of these shows I remember. I must have watched a lot more TV with my kids than I thought I did.

hahha .. i forgot most of them.. saturday morning was the best!! there were more cartoons back then.. at least on basic local channels.. cartoons in the morning before going to school.. cartoons after school.. now all they got are soaps and talk shows

You should try the 60's and 70's. Some of the stuff above was actually created then.

Plus we had Scooby Doo, Wacky Races, Speed Racer, Jonny Quest, and of course The Flintstones on prime time!

The 90's had some great toons. Batman TAS was a great show.

The 80's had the best cartoons ever though. It kind of looks that way since there are so many of those shows that became movies. For example GI Joe, Transformers...
Also there were some other wonderful tv shows from that era.

You don't know what you were missing, although it was pretty much typical Hanna Barbera fair. I still have dreams about Penelope Pitstop in her Compact P.ussycat racecar.
