Hmmmm that's a toughie. I actually have NA Supra experience. Probably the BRZ/FRS/GT86, because it's lighter.

Thanks mate!

What kind of car na supra is on the track? Does it have a good balance and is it easy to drive at the limits?

It would be a lot of cheaper to buy than twins, so that's why i'm asking.

What would be optimal camber for NT01s to keep them from wearing out the shoulder prematurely? Currently running -2.0* front and -2.2* rear with RCE T2's using OEM top hats and crash bolts up front.

I've only canyoned a NA Supra. Consumables will cost more on the supra; significantly more. You also have to deal with a 15-20 year old car, versus a new car.

Balance is okay, and the car is more forgiving overall, but modding options are limited with a NA-T conversion or a TT base.

I may have missed it. Tags don't seem to be working...

Anyways, do you have pyrometer readings or tire pictures?

Nope; haven't run on them yet.... just not sure if my -2.0* up front is anywhere close to where I need to be.

I currently have eibach pro kit performance springs installed, and there is a noticable stiffness compared to stock suspension. would it be bad to track with these? a friend from a shop i know told me not to since I don't have coils. I don't see the problem tracking with these when people track with the softer stock suspension. but might as well be safe and ask the forums :P

edit: i've done many canyon trips but i want to get some track experience before i do too much modifications. ive already learned the limits of my stock tires and suspension due to an accident i had in one of these trips hoping to gain more legal experience with a stiffer suspension and stickier tires, which I am getting installed this weekend.

It probably won't be enough, but it's far better than stock.

Well, it's not ideal, but it's not untrackable. As long as you're not bottoming out, you'll be okay. You should join the 86 cup!

Hey Mike, if you had to choose between the Bilstein B14 and B16, which would you choose?
This being a car that is a daily driver with the ambition to track maybe once every couple months.

B16. Get them put on, get it corner balanced professionally, aligned professionally, and dampers dialed professionally. Then forget about em and enjoy.

Expanding on that, I want to be able to retain my current drop of 1.5-2.0". I do not want to sacrifice handling. Will it be worth it to go into roll center/bumpsteer correction, as well as extended top hats for the rear to prevent bottoming out, and perhaps the ground control camber plates up front to preserve travel and allow for the precise alignment I'll need?

I wouldn't worry too much about roll center and bumpsteer, but the altered mounts will help with compression travel.

On that note, higher spring rate does not mean a worse ride.... with proper dampers.
