Limited owners, do you feel the extra goodies are worth it?

So I assume many of y'all had your brz for a while now. Do you think it has been worth it over getting the cheaper premium or the even cheaper fr-s?

Top 'goodie' that you enjoy? Which 'goodie' you can live without/find annoying?

Uh.

Hell yeah. $2000 for Alcantara and leather that looks great? Check. For a push start button that is easily replaced with a red STI button that makes me giggle when I press it? Check. For a better looking center stack? Check. For seat heaters and mirror heaters? Check. Fog lights? Check. Stupid spoiler? I could go without it, but check!

Not to mention things we should all have anyway, but that you can only get with a Limited trim: door courtesy lights and vanity mirror lights.

Oh god what about smart key entry? That's AMAZING. You can even open the trunk just by pressing a button ON the trunk handle if you have the key in your pocket.

I enjoy ALL of the 'goodies' Heated Seats...Keeps the tushy warm, Foglights... lets you see better..although I have recently updated the fogs to HID as well .. so I can REALLY See.. ...The rear Spoiler is Ok. But its part of the package.... The Alcantera Is soooooooo worth it. and the Push Button Start.. and keyless is the bomb.. ... Spend the extra $... if you ever Re-sell those "goodies" are worth Premuim dollar

Don't listen to people who tell you "goodies" ruin the raw feeling of the car. I had a s2000 with audio controls near my steering wheel, when I said I wanted similar controls for the BRZ, some forums owners criticized and said it would ruin the rawness of the car and shouldn't be in a sports car? Seriously? "Goodies" make you enjoy the car more. You're not going to ever say... UGH I hate this push start button...or I hate leaving my keys in my pocket when starting the car.

I had myself a bit confused when I bought the car.. I knew I wanted heated seats. And I knew to get the heated seats I needed leather. But then I bought a car I'm not going to drive in winter.

I do love the leather/alcantara seats though. They should wear much better than cloth.

I hate the push button start. Seems it was engineered to help me forget and lose keys, and if I turn the power on without starting the car I'll be damned if I can tell when its turned back off.

I like the HIDs but I could definitely live without. The halos are cool except they're only ever lit (in practice) when the headlights are on and they aren't very noticeable. Indifferent on the fog lights. The spoiler... I want something there, but it's not the best looking spoiler. I have an idea I'll try out eventually.

I appreciate the dual zone climate control more than I ever would have thought. I guess I've been living in the past.

110% yes. The dealers near me added a bunch of stuff to all their Premium models (like spoilers, homelink, bumper applique, etc). The Limited models were only about $1200 more.

I LOVE push button start. Probably will want it in all future cars I buy. The heated seats are also a must here in Minnesota, to those two features were well worth the money alone plus all the other extras like dual climate control. It is usually only me in the car so I like having control over the climate for the driver.

I would get the Limited again. It will also help with resale since the car has features many people look for.

Never had any family member or friend that has a leather seated car lol (dad actively hates that and somehow got a rx350 in cloth trim!).

My most enjoyed thing is probably all the keyless functionality; don't even have to push a button to unlock the car. The Alcantara is a comfortable second. I'd say I like it all though, even the spoiler.

A lot of people say that the car is a bit too small to warrant dual climate control, but as someone who always keeps the AC on the coldest setting, my passengers have loved having the ability to keep warm.

Not hot. I've had the whined about the steering wheel being too hot while sitting in the seats in shorts and not even thought about it.
