Oh and Hum made fun of me for wanting it as well so we can now team up on him.
Well, OK, I'll waive at you guys, as I pass the Jag dealership, in my trouble free Buick, as you guys are paying out a monthly retirement check for an oil change in your Jag.......

Probably be no oil in them to change by the time I retire. Maybe have to have the armatures checked or something.

I get to retire when I'm 49 so hopefully I'll be able to be a burden on the retirement system for a long time. We retire with 92% of our salary and I checked my final average pay a month or so ago and if I could retire right now I would be worth more than I am on the job. We have to work 28 yrs and then we can leave.

We are moving to Colorado the year that I retire so the Jaguar will be a "fill in" car until we move. Then I'll go back to my Tacoma and run all the trails in the mountains. I sold my Tacoma to buy my wife the FRS (grudgingly). I had no intention of selling it but a buddy of mine has been trying to get me to sell it for 6 months. He finally came up with a price that I couldn't refuse so I took the money he paid me and bought my wife the FRS with money to spare. Honestly this is the first car that I've ever paid cash for so it is completely paid for which is nice.

So the Jaguar is now going to be my toy for a few years until we get ready to move. Do I need it? Hell no... Do I want it? HELL YES! Probably will be the most impractical thing I could buy but the way I look at it is you only live once and I don't want to look back and ever say "I wish I would have done that".

Make sure to give us an honest review on the car! The Jag you're getting is stunning! Congratulations and don't do to many dangerous things in it!

Professional Firefighter. Hard work and you have to work for minimum of 28years. It's a hard job but it's a good job if you like helping people. You get to see the best and worst of people and you see things that you should never have to see.

Our retirement is set up where we retire with 92% of our final average pay (top three years of the last ten). Every July after we retire we get a 3% cost of living increase. So in the end I'll be making more off the job than I was on the job. "If" I could retire right now with 23 years on the job I'd still be making more off the job right now.

Well, now, Rear-View-Mirror, you sure do deserve that retirement fer sure.

I commend you on your community service. You stay safe!
