Yeah but not all 86s have signed up yet!
I love it how on here and the other forums, guys are always talking about how the stock brakes and suspension need to be upgraded (most times for "track use").
Or the cars soooo slow! I made it faster by adding 10 stickers etc etc.
They also always talking about the "race" they had against this or that.
But then a track day comes and.........

Stainless steel brake lines are going in this weekend

I might not be joining for the track day anymore... car needs more mods before I'd even consider racing it.. getting stickers on right to maximise airflow and heads-turned-per-minute is a task best left to professionals..

Speaking of stickers.... how many HP does the Tokyota sticker add?

Wow, don't let that stop you doing the track day.
Just be aware of your car's limitations and work around that.

Let me know what's worrying you, and I'll give you some advice how to safely work around it.

Well look, we all know that dynos vary etc etc. but I reckon about 10 hp per sticker. I have two which means 20hp at he wheels! That puts me squarely in Porsche/Ferrari territory.
But, even if they give gave me 120hp more, what does it matter if I spend all my time telling people how awesome my car is and how well it handles, instead of actually driving it.

I was trolling, sorry

I'm really stoked to go and I wouldn't miss it for anything at this stage. Although, Mr Fish Eagle, I would really appreciate to sit a lap or two with you to accelerate my progress from scrub to maester

I knew you were trolling, but are you really fitting braided lines this weekend? That's an upgrade which I'd seriously consider wanna know what it feels like.

Ha-ha!! I think I'm getting too old for this inter-web thingy

First session on the 25th, I'll be leading the novice group around the track for a few slow(ish) laps so that they can get acquainted with the layout of the track and the lines through the corners.

Then during the day, I've made myself available as a track taxi to take folks out for a couple of hot laps, either joyrides or to suss out the lines and braking points. @JouMaSeHoes will be organising this, so you need to contact him and get your name on his list.
I'm not sure exactly how he wants to handle this, but I suspect that he'll be rattling the tin for a small contribution to the charity.
