Thumbs up

Thank you for this! A couple of questions:
  1. What is welcome lighting?
  2. Have they announced any changes to the exterior colors?

What do they mean by, "Optional Performance Package" for the tS?
I thought the tS WAS the Performance Package with some extra bling.

1) The top bullets points were from the Subaru news link. They are just the summary bullets points. I updated the language to clarify that. Subaru just meant to say that the Performance Package is still available in 2018.

2) Doesn't look like there will be new colors.

"the fog lights have been deleted and replaced with STI fog light covers."

No fog lights but hey, you get some nifty plastic covers with STI written on them...

Weird way to word it for sure but it seems like they just meant the "Optional Performance Package" is standard on the tS, which we all knew, seems clear when you check the article. Also nice to see there's more then just a little extra bling on tS, car is solid, I'll definitely be confirming my order.

If it's anything like my outback whenever you unlock the door or approach the car little lights on the mirror will shine on to the door

What, exactly, is a "flexible stiffener?"

I did some googling and it looks like welcome lighting is when your interior lights and headlight/taillights turn on.

I'm assuming that it has to include headlights/taillights because my BRZ interior lights already turn on when approached.. unless thats just a Canada thing.. which I don't believe it is.
