Red is cool. I can't argue with that.

I thought the 2018+ MY got the 3 blink tap feature? http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121515

Might be North America only...

I have a tap-turn for my 2017 so I could get this feature. Works perfectly. I turned off the departure/arrival lighting.

I have the DD version, really like it, but no arrival feature for my '13 FRS. Is it just their's that it doesn't work on?

I have been contemplating either one. But as one member mentioned, theres not much resistance between tapping it and pushing it all the way.

I've been trying to tap without the module and having a difficult time not pushing it all the way especially with one hand. As such I feel the module will not work well.

Anyone else experience this or owner of the modules can chime in?

I don't have this issue. The turn signal stalk in this car feels no different than in every other vehicle I've ever driven. There should be enough resistance for you to not accidentally click it into the "locked" position, because that is how you temporarily signal lane changes and things. If it snaps to the locked position immediately when you try to signal, your stalk assembly may be defective, and you should have it looked at. Unless you like needing to manually engage and then manually disengage the signal every time you change lanes and such.

While it's true there is very little resistance on the stalk it is just something I got used to. Probably less than a week and I could do it reliably without it clicking over fully, just have to get a bit of muscle memory built up. I love the feature, works nicely for merge lanes and freeway exits.

The resistance feels similar to my dad's BMW Z4 which has the 3-blink tap feature from the factory, so maybe that's why I got used to it so quickly.
