I ended up going here: https://goo.gl/maps/UWHkQjJrxV42 . W. Little York all the way to Airline has been the fastest route both times in the morning.

They replaced my wife's windshield the week before with OEM glass (Ford Flex) for $140.

I went with 20% Lifetime warrantied film and I paid $150. If you pay cash they won't charge tax. It isn't in the nicest neighborhood, but they're great people and they do an outstanding job.

I've never thought of installing tint on the windshield, so that's a new one on me... Is that a thing? A legal thing?

Try Aero Cosmetics Tire Dressing on amazon. Read the instructions.

Good stuff, doesnt leave that nasty shiny greasy finish either.

Yeah, got some new PS4S on a few months ago and they did the same after about a month, have to dress them regularly to keep them black.

Did you guys get an extended warranty? Awesome car and I am surprised why isn't sold out. A lot of BRZs are still in stock.

I know there are different schools of thought, but I no longer advocate buying extended warranties. I've never once had occasion to use the coverage an extended warranty provided. I still had one on my Tundra (my previous new purchase), but only because it was free. I did not buy one for the BRZ as it will only be getting 5 - 6k miles per year. I just didn't see the value, yet again. To each, their own. Some people swear by them. Others scoff.

Got my license plates today. I have a clicking noise under the hood and service center told me that they are booked for two weeks. Tech advised me there is nothing wrong and only time I can schedule it immediately if there is a check light. What the heck?

I've had good luck with VRP from Chemical Guys. Just wipes on and stays black for a good while.

+1 for VRP. It is water based so doesn't last a long time (I apply every 2 weeks when I wash), but is super easy to apply and gives a nice satin shine without being too glossy.

If you guys have a lot of browning on your tires, a good APC or degreaser should help with a good scrubbing. I've had good success with meguairs D101.

Thanks, I had actually ordered Car Guys Tire Shine Spray off Amazon not too long after making my post. I tried it out yesterday and took some pictures this morning. The bottle had instructions for both getting the glossy finish and also to get a more flat black. It required wiping down the tire with a towel after applying the tire shine, I'll probably try it out next time. In any case, it looks a lot better now.

It was pouring like crazy a few hours ago, I'm curious to see how it holds up tomorrow.

Big thanks to @Drambeenie and @QueenBRZ for the install video.
