That sucks. At least you weren't having sex with a beautiful woman which ended up being a man. I guess we're both having lousy weeks.

Why didn't you wait for the new WRX?
needed a car asap as i only have til mid next week with the rental. plus i kinda like the look of the current WRX over the new one and was able to work out a pretty great deal. and lastly the new one's a grand more and i'm already having to put up more money than i initially wanted to for a new car.

Glad you had fun on this forum. This forum is a crazy bunch, but a lovable crazy bunch. Sad to see someone go, but you seem to enjoy your new ride. And that's all that matters.
the jeep took 100% liability thankfully

In fairness the jeep did manage to hit a stopped car...people don't pay attention, thank god you don't ride a motorcycle.

The car did its job...it took a bullet for you so I'd like to think that its little boxer soul gets to go to the big slalom in the sky, even if its twisted metal body has to stay here on terra firma.

Glad you're okay, hope you like the new wheels.

On another note it's real easy to see why the fent bumper beam is so important.

It dissipates the force around the vehicle rather than through it (i.e. engine into passenger compartment)? Is that what I'm seeing?

Bummer. If that happens to me, I'm getting a Lotus Elise or a Porsche 964, so I don't knock you for moving to the WRX (other than you not going for the hatch back ).

We are just bring to light that you wanted a WRX and the BRZ at the same time. Your wallet is what is telling you that you cant have both.
