Do you have an aluminum driveshaft? I assure you it works the majority of the time baring issues in the balance from the factory.

This question is for Drive Shaft Shop

What is the warranty policy on the carbon fiber drive shafts?
What is the return policy for a carbon fiber drive shaft you built and were unable to repair, in order for the car to be quiet and vibration free, after "MULTIPLE" returns and shipments which the buyer pays for?

Do you remember the torque specs you used to tighten the 4 bolts, or did you just use the good ole "gud-n-tite" method? Also, were the stock bolts long enough to cover the thicker flanges of the alum ds? I thought i read somewhere that other had to use special types of bolts (longer) and replaced the stock ones....

Fortunately i dont have the Vibrration issue that some has reported but i do hear a "metal to metal" clunk noise as i shift gears/ release clutch. Do you have that as well?

As stated above - luckily i dont have the Vibration issues, but i do hear a "metal clunk" type of noise when I shift/ release clutch. has anyone else reported similar issues? I didnt notice it on the day of the install when I ran some test laps, but not its more obvious (windows down/ radio off). Thoughts?

Pulling this from 6ft under; will - 20f be a problem for this carbon shaft? Someone else asked and went unanswered. I need to know!
Also, any other experience stories explaining the difference you felt? I'm staying n/a, will have lwcp, light wheels and hope for a responsive car. I'm traumatized by my 3000gt VR4.

I can give you my personal experience, I got the first AT CF driveshaft from Drive Shaft Shop. I sent them my stock one to use as a template. I personally felt it made lots of thing all around a little better. Acceleration, and breaking both a little smoother and a little better. I fully acknowledge this could all be in my head. It’s not an amazing difference, maybe not worth the money depending on your budget.

BTW I no longer have my BRZ but I do still have the AT CF driveshaft. If anyone is interested let me know I have no need for it with a forester LOL.

i dont have the drive shaft shop driveshaft on my personal car BUT the Formula D teams I have been a part of since 2011 have all used their driveshafts and axles and can 100% say they are second to none.
the last 3 seasons the car I worked closely used the carbon driveshaft. the car has over 1000hp and 1000ft/lbs of torque and we had 1 minor issue (also the driver was a little extra hard on the equipment so we didnt blame DSS at all).

would always trust their product and they have great customer service as well.

Real carbon fiber such as used in drive shafts will not be effected by the cold at all. Hoods, wings, etc are very rarely made of 100% carbon fiber and it is the other materials used that are affected by low temperatures not the so much the CF.
