mostly the fact that no one knows anything outside their own, highly specialized area of expertise and the fact that once you ask them something outside their area they put their zero fucks given hat and fuck off

then you get the management chain letters that bounce from one supervisor to the next and sure enough murphy's law kicks in when one of those supervisors is on their 2 week vacation

when they do get back from vacation they quickly glance at their inbox and just say fuck it and forward it to their secretary who don't know shit either and apply the bare minimum effort required just to process this wall of emails

so your request of "where's my scion" will turn into a reply 3 months later saying "we hope you enjoy your scion"

the point is, no body gives a fuck and the sooner people accept that and just relax the better their lives are gonna be.

Truth is, Toyota/Scion could save themselves a whole bunch of hassle by just letting people track the cars whereabouts themselves. All they need is a form that accepts a VIN, and tells you where the car with that VIN currently is.

Agreed. The Grad Rebate approval doesn't come from them, they have to send it to Toyota, so we'll see.

As for PDI, I was thinking the same thing, but I'll see when they let me know tomorrow when I can pick it up.

Why would they apply the grad rebate so late. They could have done that at a much earlier time.

They PDI'd my car in a day, delivered to the dealership Monday morning and I picked it up Monday night
