So USAA the military insurance/bank company recruits heavily from my school, and this semester they cut back their recruiting to 8 people compared to 30 for intern-ships. Well I have a friend who interned last summer and is getting hired on in august after we both graduate , and heard from my career advisor that they we're looking for an additional two IT spots one for development and one for cyber security which my major is in. I then called my friend and asked if he could get me some details , and he told me to just come with him to the dinner they we're throwing for the possible interns and new hires last night. So I went, had great chemistry with the recruiters and received a phone call from my advisor telling me they wanted to squeeze me in for a interview tomorrow because they really liked what I had to offer(my gpa is lower than most of their hires)! I'm so excited they offer great benefits have won best IT place to work at for 3 of the past 4 years and the year they didn't win they ranked 2nd. And a cute asian girl at school has taken interest in me alot , so life is amazing now! I've hit a gold mine this week and I couldn't be happier
 !
