Ecutek Stage 2 Toyota FT86 2012 (Build Thread)
Hello, my name is Erick and I'm from Jakarta, Indonesia. I recently purchased this secondhand FT86 and started to mod it. My car is an Automatic, because a manual transmission 86 is very rare here, and considering Jakarta's traffic plus the fact that i will daily drive this car, i chose an A/T.
For those who are wondering, a brand new FT86 costs around 50,000USD here. https://www.instagram.com/tofuking86/ Mod List: *underline: parts are here, to be installed Engine -Blitz Intake Suction Pipe Kit -Blitz Advance Power Open Air Intake System -Toda Racing Lightweight Pulley Kit -Toda Big Single 72mm Throttle Body (Removed) -Invidia Catless Equal Length Header w/ DEI Exhaust Wrap -HKS 60mm Front Pipe w/ dual resonator -GReddy Limited Edition TRUST Comfort Sport GTS ver.2 Titanium Exhaust -HKS Sure Fire Spark Plug -EcuTek Racerom Stage 2 ECU Reflash (With Pop and Bang Map ) [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeLHbIe1_QM"]GREDDY GTS VER.2 Pop Crackle Backfire | Scion FRS, Subaru BRZ, Toyota GT8/FT86 - YouTube[/ame] Wheels, Tires, and Suspension -Work Emotion CR Ultimate "Kiwami" 19" Wheels (Bronze Repainted to Black) -Rays Duralumin Straight Lock & Nut (Black) -Toyo Proxes T1R Tires -Eibach Pro-kit Lowering Springs Exterior -Carbon Mirror -Valenti LED Taillight -Valenti LED 4th Brakelight -BRZ TS STI Dry Carbon GT Wing Interior -Black Alcantara Steering Wheel w/ red stiching -Black Alcantara Dash Board Trim w/ red stiching -Black Alcantara Shift Knob w/ red stiching -Black Alcantara Hand Brake w/ red stiching -Savanini Aluminium Paddle Shifter

Car prices here is ridiculous, a brand new f30 320i costs about the same here haha. Yes, the traffic here is very bad, sometimes a 4km drive took me 90mins. Thanks man!

Wheels repainted!
It's finally done! I didn't like bronze wheel at all, so i repainted it in matte black. Anyway, really love the result.

Paddle shift plastidip DIY
Did a little DIY, didn't like the silver interior panel color, so i painted the paddle shifter with plastidip before attaching it to the extender. The other bits are currently being transformed into dry carbon.

Interior mods update!
My interior modifications are done!
I disliked the red and black leather on the steering wheel, i think it's too much, so I look around and found a shop that specialized in making an alcantara steering wheel. I chose Black Alcantara and red stitching for all the parts which includes shift knob, handbrake, and dashboard (idk what it is called, the one with the cheap imitation carbon-ish texture on the passenger side + headunit). As to the silver panels (steering, shift knob, door handle, ac vents), i planned to paint it in matteblack, because in my opinion, there are just too much people that uses carbon fiber with glossy finish in their interior. But, i found a local shop that does 1x1 vacuum infused dry carbon fiber, which are similar to those in the facelift R35 GTR, so i asked them whether they can make my interior panel with matte finish, and they said absolutely can. The whole process took more or less 2 weeks. Anyway, really love the finished product! Tell me what you guys think! |

BRZ STI tS Dry Carbon Fiber Adjustable GT Wing
The GT Wing is here! Can't wait to install it! I know it's originally an STI Wing, but I liked it a lot. Actually I planned to buy Voltex GT Wing, but as soon as I saw the special edition BRZ, I fell in love with the GT Wing. I'm thinking to cover the STI Branding with 86 logo.

GT Wing Installed!
Came out really nice, not as big as voltex, and not to small. It is exactly the look i was going for. As to the holes in the trunk, it is being filled right now. In the end, i covered the sti logo with a carbon fiber sticker and put a 86 logo on it. Next mod will be a head unit with carplay and body kit. Still considering all the options, i was thinking to get the Alpine ilx-f309 depending on the shipping fee and availability, or a kenwood ddx917ws. As to the bodykit, i was thinking to get a carbon chargespeed lips. Tell me what you guys think! I definitely need some recommendation. 😁 Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
