I'm in it for the community, not necessarily the car. I have high hopes for this particular group of enthusiasts not to become like other groups I should not name. So far the overall attitude of this forum is really good, and ill work to keep it that way.

LMAO I don't think so... even Tada-san haven't seen or know who Hachi is, cuz when I chat w Tada-san (for press media event) he asked me who "Hachiroku" is and how he's getting all the info from (when it was still "concept"). lol

I don't ask because I want to be a mod, but a subforum mod is pretty cool.

Like others have said, you get asked. Quite a few years ago, I was an active member on pbreview.com (paintball forum) and was generally the go to guy when it came to fixing a problem with a certain marker (what we called guns, so people do freak out when they hear the word "gun" lol). Plus it was one of the more trickier ones to fix and get firing right (anyone who's played, you'd probably heard of an Autococker). Basically, to become a mod on that forum, you have to first become an Agent, which was basically a "mod in training." Your name was then bold and green, and had a special forum for agents, etc. Couldn't actually close threads or ban, but I believe we we're able to move them. I do not recall since it was ~7 years ago. IIRC they changed ranks of the staff every year or so, so getting chosen was quite an achievement if I do say. I could've became a mod, but some "life events" happened and paintball wasn't a hobby anymore, so I didn't go on the forums anymore, thus loosing my status. I believe they removed that rank and purged anyone in the staff who wasn't active more. Granted, the site is practically dead now.
