Any thoughts on the best combination...

It doesn't lose HP, it just doesn't make as much as a equal length.

Is anyone running the 3 inch catback w/o any other mods? I ask because I added it and it "seems" like some of the below 4 or 5 K RPM at full throttle is gone. Hard to tell. I am thinking a free flow air filter would help.
Love the sound and so far everything is very good on this set up. It is louder than stock. Once you are cruising w/o adding gas the sound is fine. You def hear it if giving the car gas. Under normal throttle like 1/2 it seems fine at all RPMs.

I'm now looking at getting the Corsa 2.5"
I feel this is a better choice from what I've read on here.
Just not sure if it is resonated...?

Your engine will choke at very low rpm on a 3" exhaust while N/A. Been there, done that. Stick with 2.5" unless pushing over 350-400 whp on turbo.

I'm not too familiar with the 6AT transmission but the shifts seem similar to VW/Audi DSG dual clutch gearboxes: pretty damn quick.

I am hoping a tune helps with the low rpm power. If not I will look into a 2.5 pipe from the cat back or swapping the entire exhaust kit to 2.5.

i have purchased the 2.5" overpipe and 3" catback from Perrin Performance. Sooo do I buy the 2.5" front pipe or the 3" version to complete the whole exhaust system (excluding the header)? I'm just hoping the flanges of all these pipes line up perfectly despite the variation in tubing diameters.

The flanges will line up. I had the same set up as you, but with a 3 inch front pipe. Perrin doesn't make a front pipe any more so you'll have to buy a used one.

Not sure if you guys have read this but there isn't much of a performance difference between the 2.5 and 3 inch perrin exhaust. I personally have the 3" with few additional mods. Keep in mind that this car has the famous torque dip between 3-4k rpm which may explain that flat foot feel.
