Definitely interested to seek what Fallout 76 is. Completely different for a Fallout game to be multiplayer online.

I bought an Xbox One bundle with Fallout a couple of years ago. Didn't like it all so I returned it for the Tomb Raider bundle and I couldn't have been happier.

I do like the little Fallout Shelter app game. that's a nice little time killer.

Wooooo!! E3 2018!
A few games announced I'm quite excited about with Cyberpunk 2077 topping the list. No release date but at least it's been announced. CDPR emphasizes the game is a RPG not a FPS. The interviews suggest the depth is going to make the Witcher 3 look shallow by comparison.The original cgi trailer (which is f*cking awesome) was posted 5 years ago!!!
Here, let's all watch it again. (Mmmm.... clips won't post. Weird.)

And here's the new trailer.

Another game I'm looking forward to is Just Cause 4. More of the same turned up to 11. The tornadoes are calculated physics. There are 4 distinct biomes compared to the monotony of the previous game (which I sunk 358 hours into).

Definitely interested in Cyberpunk, Just Cause, Assassin's Creed, and the return of Halo to the PC. Elder Scrolls 6 will be great I suspect but too early to get too excited, I mean we all knew there would be one eventually.

Fallout 76 is still a wait and see for me.

Speaking of PC gaming....

The Hawk family was on vacation last week. While the Ladies did an outlet shopping day (think God I finally have a daughter-in-law in the family!), sons and Dad went to one of the those VR Arcade places that are now popping up.

We rented and did VR for about two hours, primarily playing a 4 player Zombie game. it was a lot of fun. This was the full room type, each of us in a separate 3 walled room using Oculus headsets and some high powered PC hardware.

We tried a 1v1 race sim as well (VR setup with motion seat). That one, did not enjoy as much. The seat was cool enough but the physical controls were poor and the visibility in the headset (not Oculus, came with the setup) was bad, rather low res and if the headset slipped at all you got too much distortion.

They also had the VR Treadmill stuff but we didn't try that.

What I determined from this experience is that VR is very cool, but I'm not sure I'm ready to dive in. It is definitely better in a group scenario like this.

I hear Dave and Busters is getting ready to dive into it in a big way. They did a great job with MechWarrior in the past so that may be the way to go.

OK, I'll be that guy. I don't enjoy 99% of games people like. I am a grown ass man, my beard comes in between swigs of my black coffee, my biggest concern before work is finding socks without a hole, I am incredibly stubborn and hate socializing with more than one person at a time.

But I am so excited for MARIO PARTY. Nintendo created Darksouls PVP when Crash Bandicoot was Playstation's man. I'm hoping the game goes back to its ways, I miss the hardcore Mario Party strats before handholding became the norm. I don't play games much, but when I do, I want to be challenged every second. Counter-Strike: Source, Darksouls, Mario Kart, I could die only playing these games and be happy
