I'll be there too weather-permitting - meaning if it was raining but stopped by 8:00 I'll show up - not standing around in the rain!

Sounds like a pretty decent base stock then. Try it out and get it analyzed!

So that's 16,000kms, I'm still doing changes at 5000 kms here regardless, using Toyota 0W20 synthetic. I'll have to look into it based on your comment of the oil analysis.

In my day job, I manage a fleet of work vehicles and have found that the extended intervals are a bit too extended and leading to issues so we have reduced it to fixed 8000 km intervals on conventional oil, instead of going by duty cycle indicator (mostly Honda cars and Ford trucks).

So I guess I'm also a bit old school, which is why I do my own car every 5K.
Used oil analysis is the best way to determine intervals, and if the oil is suited for the work it's being subjected to. I wouldn't be surprised if a conventional oil broke down quickly; synthetics are much more resistant to shear.

Cool. I'll give it a shot then.

Just picked up my OEM oil filters today so once I'm closer to track day I'll switch to the QS.

@PNA

Since there is free shipping on the ezoildrain version I was just going to order one directly. I won't be changing my oil for a few more weeks so if you can wait until then I can give you feedback on how it works.

I tried to get Ottos to fix it but they said the service bulletin wasn't applicable for my car neither was the revised pump.

Didn't fight it but you can try.

If you can't hear it, I wouldn't bother trying to get it fixed. I wouldn't even try listening for it because then you'll hear every creak and groan the chassis makes.

Having said that, for those that haven't plugged the sound tube entry to the cabin, do it. It's a noticeable improvement in ride noise for me. I'll probably take the whole noise generator out of the engine compartment one of these days on principle.

Thoughts on new exhaust

New Exhaust =Deeper Louder tone = More top end power = More aggression = Less gas mileage = :c heers:

Almost 2 years in and still addicted!!! As luck would have it going away in May for 5 days out of Syracuse. Will pick up the OFT on my way back duty and tax free from Odgensburg. Allowed $800 Canadian after 48 hours.
Buddy Club Tails just cleared customs. C'mon Monday!!!!!

Shell 93? Too bad we don't get it in Quebec :/

I'm on my first tank from the dealer and I can hear the crickets when I put the radio down. It's kinda annoying, but not more than that
