Andrew how about you call allianz and suss it out on our behalf?
I'm 29 and I have been pretty happy with Just car for my Supra. I get their lowest rate with standard excess. Roughtly 900/250 I think, would have to check to confirm. Premium is supposed to go up by x amount per y amount of mods but the call center dude waved all that for me. |

Hi nix, i'd love to do that for you mate, unfortunately i don't have everyone's personal details (age of the youngest driver, post code, driving history, sum to be insured, is the vehicle to be under finance, etc), besides that mate although i am tier 2 qualified to sell insurance it's not my role at my employer to do so. i only put the info out there to offer you folks another avenue to possible savings and, dare i say it, if it helps you guys and also helps my employer make more money at the same time isn't that a good thing?

Just put my details into AAMI and Just Car on their websites.
I'm 34 and live in Brisbane. This is for a manual GTS with $42k put in as a rough estimate of total purchasing price. Just Car quoted $744 p.a The AAMI website keeps giving me an error when I change the price from the base of $35k to $42k, but for the base price it gave me a quote of $876 p.a |

Just got some quotes for a 24 year old in Melbourne on a GT:
AAMI: $1200, or $700 with $1500 "flexi permium" (So if I don't claim in 3 years, I end up in front by a long way with this option) RACV: $1100, or $700 with the $2000 excess (as opposed to $550) Now to wait to wait for Bingle to get the car up, as I should be able to get it really cheap through them (as I do 5000-7000ks a year). (These quotes are all agreed value of $32000 with windscreen cover) |

My wife usually puts our cars under her name, and nominates me as a second driver. she is 29 and im 26, she has never had an accident or claim, where as i have had a couple. im expecting aami to quote a little over 1000.
Edit. More than i was expecting but not too much. AAMI $1557 p.a with $0 flexi premium & $0 windshield excess |
