Also, I wish I could give an in-depth "here's what I'm watching" list like Ichi does, but I never seem to have the time. I guess watching 20+ current/continuing shows will do that to you. In short, I am enjoying Darling in the FRANXX, Yuru Camp, and Death March the most. Kokkoku is interesting. Killing Bites is ridiculous trash, but watchable. After the Rain is cute if you can get past the age gap. Overlord II seems to lack direction... I think I'm finally done with Dragon Ball's crap with Super, way too long. 14 year old me could handle the Namek arc, 29 year old me cannot stand the tournament of power arc.

I might give more thought to other stuff and recap later, but no promises.

Haha sadly I'm not watching as much as I used to. Currently I'm watching... (checking MyAnimeList & see how many I'm watching) nvm, I'm watching a ton this season, counted 30 different series. Don't feel like watching THAT many. Watching Tuesday night, Saturday & Sunday morning. Other nights I'm playing SAO:FB.

Anyways, I do agree that Overlord II seems to lack direction. They've edited the story from LN. Specially Sebas arc was more interesting in LN... but I'm still a big fan of Overlord, so I'll keep watching it.

My currently top 3 anime for this season and recommend EVERYONE to watch it are:
1. Violet Evergarden


2. Koi wa Ameagari no You ni


3. Gintama.: Shirogane no Tamashii-hen



Hands down Violet Evergarden have been the best anime of the season! Damn KyoAni know how to make a tear jerk epi. Koi wa Ameagari no You ni is a mix of classic chara design mixed w modern day art (if that makes sense) and at first I thought it was a stupid series, but it sure caught my attention after 3rd epi. I'm a huge fan of Gintama, so of course Gintama will make it to the list. Gintama is in a final arc, so might need to watch other 6 season (other 328 epi) to get some of the charas that bringing back.

I was kinda disappointed w last epi of Dragon Ball Super. Kinda wish lil bit more. O’well... hopefully DBS the Movie is good.

Really? I heard the news day of, it was all over in social media. Her last work is Dragon Ball FighterZ, so I made sure I bought that game.

RWBY Chibi started early and after a partial season they stopped without warning.
Overlord II ended but they're coming back in July, I think.
Popteamepic just ended with a fake ending.

Give me another wk or so. I'm currently going through watching all the Spring's anime series. BUT if you wanna know atm, here's my 5 series recommendation.

SAO Alternative: GGO
Megalo Box
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu
Lupin III: Part 5
Hoozuki no Reitetsu 3rd season

Still need to watch High School DxD, Full Metal Panic, Steins;Gate 0, Persona 5, Golden Kamuy, Caligula, FLCL Alternative & Shiyan Pin Jiating before what good to watch or not. Of course need to watch til 3rd epi to give final say.

Megalo Box!!!! I don't know what it is about this show, but I utterly love it. Feels a bit like Samurai Champloo, so maybe that's why? Either way, this is the one I look forward to the most so far this season.

SAO Alternative seems like it will be pretty good. Gundam Build Divers feels kind of generic, but not particularly bad. Food Wars is good, but if you watched the other two seasons then you know what it is. Caligula is weird, not sure what to make of it yet. Excited to see FMP back. A lot of sequels this season, and mostly for shows I've never watched, but I remember FMP and am happy to see it again.

As always, my list is long, so unless I'm looking at it I'll never be able to give a proper "by the show" breakdown of what I'm watching. I always say I will, then disappear into an anime filled hole for the season, rarely seeing the light of day. Who knows what I'll manage this time.

Kinda trippy watching Persona 5 when it is spot on to the game. I was amazed when they had the first random battle apeear in the episode, even mirroring the special attacks and finisher.

Yeah I saw 2 episodes of it & im enjoying it, cuz it’s literslly a game... just turn into anime.
