OMG I just heard no more Recaro

I just heard from my friend no more Recaro bucket due people driving it on the street. It will only be sold to authorized installer. So sad of it goes through. Call Option Import ,if you guys want and help rest my mind at ease.

Recaro sell their seat with a "for off road use only" warning attached like more aftermarket parts.
They know people buy them to use on the road, if they cut that off they would be cutting their profits massively.

Anyway this thread has some great sources, my friends cousin's dad works for Nintendo. /sigh.

You have to remember the US sale to the common consumer is very small as oppose to their OEM side. Supposly sale are only to authorized installer. Only time will tell if this materialize, I myself bought an extra seat just in case.

Likely as a blanket statement due to the non existence of air bags in Recaro, Bride etc.. as we know now days pretty much all OEM seats come with air bags in them.

Yes sir side deployed. Almost all new vehicles have airbags in seats now, I can't think of any that do not post 2012.
