Just broke past 1000 miles and opened her up. Damn she sounds mean at redline! I drove almost 100 miles today. Now all I need to do is find a place so I can data log for Joe.

If you folks are on the fence on the tune. Do it. It really makes a difference. I am not sure how much HP it adds but damn she seems much faster now.

Get into the group buy that Joe from Dynotronics has going right now to save some money.

The problem I have now is I want that header Joe was talking about and upcoming Motiv exhaust, and the Motiv catted front pipe and over pipe.

Oh and I can't forget to upgrade the rims and tires. I see the stocks are the weak link now.

So with that exhaust you're wanting to get, will you have to pay again to have Joe tune it once more, or does his tune include small adjustments you get later like intake/exhaust?

I believe it includes the small adjustments to the tune I bought. The 93 octane tune. You have to data log and send the logs to him and he can adjust. But if you want to go e85 that will cost you an additional tune.

Even ecutek is always adjusting the base tune and adding features. That I believe is always free.

Joe jump in here and set us straight.

Awesome, cause that's the one thing that's keeping me hesitant to do it right now, if I'll have to pay again and again to have it retuned since I won't be able to get all the other mods done at once.

You will be amazed at the difference the exhaust and intake makes.

I've had tire/wheel fever ever since Got3n upgraded his stocks with those beautiful ADVANs. And, you guys with tunes are torturing me!!!!!

Hey, at least I have the MOTIV over pipe and HFC!!!!!

People get focused on power and miss the key things to be modified first. MCB firms up the brakes. New pads and lines allows one to late brake a corner and or trail brake through a corner much faster. Suspension or alignment to allow you to control body roll and add more chamber. Lets not forget a great set of sticky tires. So far there are power gains but best bang for buck seems more suspension and brakes. To each their own though.

There are two options with the tune: you can either drop it off with Joe for a couple of hours and he'll do some fine adjustment during the time he's got it... If I'm correct, it's best if you have all your mods prior to dropping it off... It's the cheapest too. HOWEVER, he can only do so much with that time. If you, on the other hand, get the cable (+$300) or share with someone, you can do some logging on your own and send him the data via email and he'll do fine adjustments pretty much as you need. Obviously, after a number of adjustments, there won't be a need to adjust much unless you mod the car. Some people here have gotten several revisions after logging the data, myself, I'm on my second revision since I just added an inlet and drop in filter. Call joe, he'll be happy to answer all your questions!

Nice man. I think I need to get more 'sensitive' when it comes to noticing details when driving. You should drive my car sometime and see how it feels.
BTW did you say you're waiting on headers that Joe is working on? I keep going back to those borla headers and I get chills everytime....

If you are interested in headers you should check out the dyno of that strange header with the collector in front of the Jason from Nameless posted. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...postcount=1224
