noob question regarding auto brake launch

hi guys, just got my car month ago, i`d like to know what are the steps to do a brake launch on the auto, I tried that step on brake abit more than half way, but still it wont rev over 2k, please enlighten me

Put it in neutral rev to 7,000 rpm put in D and enjoy!

Since the lawsuits of unintended acceleration, pretty sure that Toyota implemented programming that causes the brake to override the gas at about the point you are describing.

I was just kidding by the way. If you take my advice your transmission is good as dead.

Planning on autocrossing and would like to know too. I tried to brake with left foot, gas right to 2k rpms and launched the tires chirped a little. I'm guessing this is optimum where the tires are at gripping limit? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I didn't know food came in left and right models.

I was going to say that automatic FR-S should have launch control, but then I thought to myself, is that really what this car is all about. It would be nice though.

All you do is put it in neutral and rev it like BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM then select D for maximum respect!
