FT86 to Supra?
OK, so I was wondering...
How much would it cost for Toyota to take the FT-86 chassis and turn it into a Supra? Of course, the modifications would include: -- 6 cylinder engine/Supercharger/Turbocharger (300 h.p min) -- Upgraded wheels (lighter, larger) -- Upgraded brakes -- Upgraded suspension -- More refined interior -- More refined exterior If they could keep the weight down and balanced and if they could deliver this for the low 30's, it might sell? Thoughts? Opinions? |

if the cars dimentions were bigger by about 5-6% added a H6 turbo priced it at about 35k(base) to 50k(preimium) 400+ hp, it would have better handling characteristics than a 5.0 mustang and have about the same power but be priced just a bit higher mainly cause its a better preforming car

On a side note i don't get the whole "Supra = God car" thing. It's a FR-S/GT86/BRZ(depending on which brand) and nothing else. Not a supra nor a hachi roku. |

Seriously though, Toyota over built the sh&t out of these cars and they can handle so much from the factory. What other car can you think of that can handle 800whp on a stock bottom end safely, or a 6-speed trans from the factory that can make over 1000whp right off the lot? Been done to many times to count

Working working.... How's everything going? Missed a lot of stuff I see.
Also found a BHG on the supra, then tore it apart and found some cracks in the head.... So I bought a built head to go on it... And that's where I've been...

Yeah I think it could be done for about 35-38k base. This is what I think would happen.
Longer platform by 12 inches IS-F V8 tuned to 450hp or TT 3.5 tuned to the same. Soft touch plastics interior for a more upscale look Upgraded suspension and brakes over the FR-S I can see all of what I just posted adding 15k-17k to a 23k base FR-S |

Why? Why? Why?
They went to so much trouble to keep this car light and balanced. Why ruin that? |
