I thought if you get the final drive from weir you'd need a is300 M85 or M98 carrier.... OR just go with an Mfactory final drive set and have a reputable shop install it all

Pulleys or lightened driveshafts = LEAST bang for the buck. (unless you meant BLING for the buck) Get tires (performance summers and WINTERS in your area) Weathertech floor mats and motul trans & diff oil. If you have very small feet, then the gas pedal extension for heel-toe. Then spend any money left on track time. The fastest guy at the track in a twin is the guy that has absolutely ZERO mods to the car. He says just learn to drive it like it is BEFORE going and changing anything. The ONLY changes on his car were wheels & tires. |

I can only speak to my own experience with the Cusco 4.556 gear set being really easy and hassle free to source and install along with the final experience being overwhelmingly positive. You can also search for a local distributor for Cusco and see what their prices are like. Cusco does do a range of ratios here is a link to their site http://www.cuscousainc.com/products/...-gear-set.html Given the strength of the USD right now you might find the prices quite reasonable though I do expect Cusco to be still dearer than Weir.

Yes but 91 is still called "premium". But so is 93 and 94 so we get our choice.

If I was you, I'd just save up some more for mods.
But if you don't want to do that, I hear driver upgrades are always a good idea. |
