Same here, on the shelf. waiting on my car. Im not sure if this is the same concept but i had an idle issue with my mustang i just unplugged the throttle positioning censor and it stopped, the rpms always being high. I don't have my car yet to look at the engine components so i can hardly help u at this point. maybe after i bolt on my pulley.

FYI, I emailed Chris about my 2nd-batch crank pulley order and he assured me it has been shipped.
Also, he was very appreciative of our support on this forum and thanks us for caring about his company. He very much looks forward to being back on here after the 1-month ban. |

While this part is on my list for sure my question has always been about why Subaru hasn't made this a light part from the start on their performance cars?
Making this a separate part for the WRX/STI/BRZ would seem to make sense because it would add that much more responsiveness to their performance line up. Is it just a cost issue?

for those that have idleing problem, have you tried disconnectig your battery?
i did it, and i think it erase the flash memory with OEM setting and self adjust it to the new pulley setting. |

Which sensor's reading do you suppose would change due to a decrease in rotating mass?

Question. There are little plastic covers that cover the alternator and compressor pulleys. What's the purpose? Are those important? Can they be removed for weight reduction (though its not much)?

Almost positive it's just a safety/protection thing with those covers. At first thought I figured it was so you could work on the engine without getting the belts all dirty.. or yourself hurt on them while it's running.
