That video is actually very helpful for me. I don't have that much mechanical knowledge and it's nice to see where each part goes. Things like coil overs and strut bars are obvious, but the other parts have sometimes confused me.

very cool and informative animation. i splurged at 86Fest and bought the cusco front and rear chassis members. made more of a noticeable difference than i expected adding aggressiveness to cornering and all around stability. Also gave kind of an "anxious" feel at higher speeds like the car wanted to GO and TURN and BRAKE and...u get it.

i paid $270 for BOTH, plus a couple free things after hustling the guy for a while. i made sure i bought the 2 most important braces. and its true what they say about being careful with this car, as every little mod can change the game. Regardless, i am VERY HAPPY. As for my "fancy" description, its for readers to take in if theyre considering these parts. IMO feedback from actual customers is more trusty than just the companys description!!!

Here's a good video from Cusco explaining how braces benefits.
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqR9D0TzHlo"]CUSCO Strut Tower Bar - How it Works - YouTube[/ame] Easiest way to test if strut bar has an impact or not is use it for a week so you get used to it, then remove it and go for a drive. I always did this and both my Corolla and Celica, and both were sloppy when braces were removed. Immediate effects after placing front strut tower back is steering turning is heavier when the car is not moving. It is strange how often I don't directly feel the difference until I removed it. I guess you can never say too there's too much chassis stiffness. |

I'd be very curious and happy to see some kind of stats (g's?) and impressions (from actual owners) these parts have on a stock car with stock wheels/tires to keep the comparison apples to apples. I really don't like giving up my hard earned cash for parts that only help a teenie bit or not much at all. If I had enough money or my own shop I'd do it myself and throw all those suspension bracing parts on my car.
