Hit while inside a store. How bad?

I've gotten a new replacement Valenti, but the dent/crease doesn't seal the taillight to the body. Any tips or tricks to pop this dent out, or should i leave it to the professionals?

Not so sure. PDR works well on large flat panels where the metal can be flexed back into place. That location is not large nor flat. Any of the PDR guys I have dealt with wouldn't even attempt it since it involves the reinforced section under the light housing and is right on a panel crease. May be somebody out there that could at least get it flat enough for a seal though.

Dents on body lines or sharp corners like that are pretty hard for PDR to deal with, even if they can access the back side of the dent. The paint will probably crack when it gets popped out.

Definitely get them to look at it as that would be the cheapest option, but I'd bet this needs to go to a body shop.

some hack pdr will probably make an attempt and make it worse for the body shop that will fix it in the end, the car was hit untended so he should put a claim in since it doesn't cause a rate increase.

Sorry that you got hit. The crease in the corner will need actual body work. I am 100% sure. It looks like at least $1000, possibly more as stated. Hopefully your coverage is good.
