One sec, lemme PM @Jason@Nameless and ask him to update this thread with whatever the status is. They support a rally team and this has caused them to put a hold on R&D in the past. This doesn't mean they aren't committed to providing us with top-notch parts.
It will be productive if it sparks them to release it or at least give info.

If you make a product announcement about something that is almost double the gains of the others like it and let it go 9 months without any real new info or releasing the product is it unreasonable to question it?

Let me correct that for you, it has been about a month since the latest prototype with the huge HP claims have been released. The thread has been running for 9 months, but it started with different prototypes, not this one making this big gains.

Also, its very simple, if you don't want to wait there are options. Go get' em.

It took me over a month to get my Axleback, so I have no problem waiting because of the quality. I eyeballed the hell out of my Axleback before I put it on and the quality is outstanding.

I'm positive the header is the same way considering the longtube design is still the only one I've seen yet for this car.

I don't think people understand "5 person shop", "supporting a rally team from Australia", and "hand-made". This is the definition of mom & pop (no offense Nameless). As Sportsguy83 said, the numbers have been out for maybe a month... be glad Nameless shared the whole process with us you ingrates.

Not trying to be an ass, I am actually excited about the product. When I found the thread the dyno was posted on post #2 with a date of 6-19-2012. I saw it was updated but I thought the dyno was always posted.

What was the original claim on the header before the major gains one?

Under the picture of the new gains on the first page they have dynos of the 4-1 catted system they prototyped.

They are a small shop but they will come out with it. Im just hoping someone throws it on a Vortech S/C car to see the before and after.

The original data is not posted anymore, it was something around 25 WHP. The original design was with a 2.5 exhaust, these new 46 HP Dynos are with 3" exhaust.

I understand you are impatient and excited about it, can't fault you for that. Me and several other forum members have been dealing with Nameless for a while now and I know how you start feeling impatient about them releasing their products. BUT, they are a small shop and they do have their time VERY busy. Lastly, you can be ABSOLUTELY sure when this products is finally released, it will be worth every penny. I have never dealt with such cool guys invested in creating awesome, out of the box type of stuff.

Thanks for clearing that up. Must have missed it.

The gains are great no doubt. IMHO, it sounds too loud/raspy (probably the 3" exhaust). Hopefully a few people can get their hands on it with different exhaust combos and make it a little more easy on the ears.

I think Jason said it sounded great on the original 2.5 axleback op/dp combo. But I don't remember seeing a video.

It will sound great with the offset 8" muffler axleback, and 2.5" DP/OP. The 3" system might be a bit too loud with the header unless you're going FI.

I'd think that would apply to turbo applications only. I plan to go S/C with a FULL exhaust so I went with Perrin's resonated catback as it's quite tame on it's own with a nice growl when you mash it. I figure once I add in the Nameless header and OP/DP combo with ONE HF cat I'll still be quiet enough.

The original design was a tri-y stepped setup with a cat built in, with 24whp gains with downpipe/axleback.

the 2nd design was a similar setup tri-y with different stepping diameters, which pushed +29 max whp (and showed 30+ in some areas).

The latest design everyone is talking about is their long tube design, with 3" exhaust. They also have several iterations between design #2 and latest longtube design.

I'm currently running the 2nd design, with over 3k miles on it. zero CELs, no cracks or leaks, and two track events, even without joints in the design. It's a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned- albeit, as some note, a little loud (with the original axleback design, 4"x6" non-offset muffler setup, and catted/helmholtzed downpipe). The videos of this setup have been posted for 6+ months now.

Nameless has gotten a little bit of concern from customers that have original designs, because they might feel shafted if a new design comes out. That's probably partly why they are waiting on releasing a header- additionally, they know more power is out there, they are perfecting the design and manufacturing strategy, and they will never ever put out a product that does not fully align to their ideals of quality, manufacturing, and workmanship.

Now if only you could put the 8" mufflers on your setup!
