I wonder how much the 'Cusco tax' is on-top of the prices direct from Toyota?

Very nice! Did you mean to say that the IS250 diff will swap in, or you can change the ring/pinion/pumpkin into our diff housing.

I'm getting 5.1 gears and LSD from Cusco. I've been as high as 5.3 in a car before. It's the mod I'm most looking forward to. If I remember I'll try and do quarter mile times before and after.

actually it will since the diff is after the transmission. it will think you're doing 70mpg but you'll be doing 65 or something close to that. but with cars these days, it's only a recalibration tune away.

you'll still need 22 shims and the OEM install pipe that presses it in.

Keep in mind that price you see is BELOW wholesale. Maybe someone at a dealer can verify what they show in the computer as "DEEP" discount.

Of course I didnt pay retail for the Cusco either.

Nice job, nice review, I'm jealous. I probably drive too many daily miles to justify the hit on MPG though.

so help me understand. Can we use the OEM final for a IS300 on the BRZ rear end? If cusco is just reselling the toyota parts, why can't we just use it, instead of getting the Cusco? The stock IS seems to use a 4.3 rear end. Is that right?

Are you sure that's the 4.55? Some google searches show it as 3.7'ish.
