I'm sharing my quest to find a solution for a matching trans. for the horsepower and wheel torque im running......very rough crowd.
I think my advice checking input shaft spline/length and the ability to find a proper pilot bearing/bushing along with a bellhousing that will attach the transmission/engine at the proper depth are good things to look for in a "Will this bolt up" question.

Custom driveshafts are easy to make for any driveshaft shop, the transmission mount can be tubular steel.... a bellhousing though, thats a little more difficult IMO

Thanks for the mention. Rick and I discussed that today. Yes I have a bolt in transmission conversion.

I have been discussing this with both Don at Accelerated (who is a major force and pioneer in my opinion for this platform and, Joseph Dederichs of Dederichs Motorsports LLC,....who works with a number of race teams running Tremecs in the Sports Car Challenge race series as the tremec advisor and rep..... Via Email he adviced me he has done a Tremec XLmagnum swap in a couple of FRS's....yah its expensive,...but not as expensive as replacing this transmission a couple times at 5.8 k a pop or rebuilds if it doesn't shell out. I'm building a street legal/weekend track car.
